Membrane Penetration

Recently, I crossed paths with Sonic Radiation p.k.a. Todd Lastin again, a solo artist/producer out of the Dallas, Texas club scene. It was perfect timing to reconnect, as Sonic Radiation was providing a newly released EP as a free download offer for obvious promotional reasons; making it Open Music Wire ready! While listening to the EP, titled Electrolux, I began to review the album description, reading these two particular lines “Mixides transmit signals via the sonic spectrum and are produced by a single cell. Signal transmission penetrates through membranes and represents an entirely new principle for signaling in electronic systems”.

Don’t you sometimes read something, and say to yourself that you wish you had the same thought pattern you have now as when you were at some point in your past?  Well, I had that when reading both lines, as it made me think how realistic it could be for specific-produced industrial/electronic music to penetrate your membrane and influence the human electrical circuit, like maybe the meridians or channels, and even chakras for that matter. This way of thinking brought me back to the early rave days in downtown L.A., truly appreciating not just the electronica format itself (for what it just may do for the human body), but also  Sonic Radiation to provide such well produced material of its kind. So get your membrane penetrated with Electrolux; but just remember to wear headphones for protection.
