Ghetto Twiinz: New Single & Music Video – “Rock Rock”
Music Genre: Rap
After being out of the limelight for nine years, the New Orleans-born-and based Ghetto Twiinz are back with a new knockout EP, ‘Them People Coming’. Released under a new independent label, Katrinaville Entertainment, their latest outing reunites them with one of the industry’s formidable icons, platinum producer Leroy “Precise” Edwards (Mystikal, Juvenile, Scarface, Willie Dee, Fiend, Partners N Crime), who discovered the girls back in 1994. ‘Them People Coming’ also features a newcomer, Chris Rockaway of CNC Publishing, who produced some of the tracks on the EP. The long hiatus certainly has not changed the Ghetto Twiinz, who insists that their music still has the same hard hitting messages that resonate with many of the inner city youth across America. This EP, like previous releases, contains female anthems and club bangers.
The lead single, ‘Rock Rock’, is a feel-good party song has already gained interest from radio, with 20+ stations adding it into rotation. This is a celebration song in more ways than one. For starters, it hails the duo’s comeback and secondly, it is about womanhood, confidence and freedom. It appears that the tone of the entire album has taken the cue from this positive and empowering track.
The release of ‘Them People Coming’ is an announcement of the Ghetto Twiinz return and an advisory to watch out for this formidable duo as they stake their claim on the global music stage.
