Established in 1997, Kingdom One provided special event production, record release party, and street team promotion services for the fashion, music and print media industries. By 2002, K1 added mobile and retail marketing tactics to its core services, enabling K1 to present co-branded opportunities for its industry relations. During this time frame, K1 was fortunate to have worked alongside artists, brands and companies such as Boot Camp Click, Eminem, Interscope Records, Karl Kani, Warner Music Group and XXL Magazine to name a few.

As the digital age began to influence cut backs and budget restraints, K1 focused on the development of niche services for the indie artist and label community. This enabled K1 to form Kingdom One Entertainment Group, LLC in 2005, launching its music division under MusiK1 that primarily provided Internet radio promotion, press release and sample clearance services. With much success, the K1-MusiK1 project history soon after reached well over 100 titles.
More recently, MusiK1 has transitioned into a label arm under K1, where both entities concentrate on signing artists and sub-labels to distribution deals, while negotiating marketing, promotion and publicity services for each release. K1 has also launched Kingdom One Publishing (ASCAP) as its publishing wing, as well as artist management services for select talent.
