The Label Support program has been established to provide Record Release Aid and negotiate additional Record Campaign Solutions with MusiK1 Sub-Labels in order to help strengthen their campaign initiatives. To participate, sub-labels will need to be signed with MusiK1 to handle their Digital Distribution through the MusiK1-IODA partnership.

Once a sub-label has signed with MusiK1, pre-release administration duties will need to be executed, either by the sub-label or by MusiK1 (for a small fee), consisting of Title Registration, Digital Distribution Account Setup and Release Approval. With titles that contain an non-licensed sample, Sample Clearance services will be necessary before scheduling a release date.

Starting at $2,000 per month, the Monthly Retainer Package has been created for sub-labels focused on providing all of MusiK1’s internal online marketing driven services, while having third party partner services readily available to purchase whenever necessary. MusiK1 will also provide unlimited consulting for the release’s marketing, promotions, publicity, advertising, distribution, publishing and licensing initiatives.

For each sub-label release, MusiK1 creates a marketing plan, consisting of MusiK1 record campaign solutions, MusiK1 partner and affiliate services, as well as elements that may already be in place such as CD distribution, an online street team or a scheduled tour. Which ever is the case, campaign customization must be established within the marketing plan, helping to establish the campaign schedule and monthly retainer rate.
